I am grateful and honoured to welcome you to our official website of the Eritrean Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.
The role of the Eritrean Embassy in Pretoria is to protect the interest of Eritrea and Eritrean Nationals within the limits Permitted by International law, negotiating with the Governments of all Countries of Accreditation of the SADC Region where the Eritrean Nationals reside. One of the core responsibilities of the Eritrean Embassy in Pretoria is to deliver the best possible counsel and services to Eritrean citizens as well as to foreign visitors, who find themselves in an emergency situation in those Countries, or are in need of the Embassy’s assistance for other reasons. The website provides an online registration of all Eritreans in South Africa and in all Countries of accreditation. In this regard I appeal to all Eritreans be they residents, working, studying or visiting the Republic of South Africa and Countries accredited to register on online registration form our Embassy provides.
Eritrean Embassy in Pretoria is staffed by a team of six competent Foreign Service officers, supported by a team of locally recruited staff; we are a team because we respect each other while serving our Nation, Eritrea. There are two main branch offices of an Eritrean Embassy in Angola and Zambia. The Embassy is duty bound to promote and enhance friendly relations between Eritrea and these Countries on developing economic, social and cultural relation.
